Taylor quickly established himself as a pivotal figure in Don Revie’s legendary Leeds side, which dominated English football and made a notable impact on the European stage. Throughout his time at Leeds, which lasted until 1979, he made over 200 appearances and helped the club secure numerous titles. Among these were two First Division titles (1968–69 and 1973–74) as well as triumphs in the FA Cup in 1972 and the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in the same season.
